TODAY'S FLOWERS #368 - October 16th, 2015

Today's Flowers will open on Friday at 12.00 a.m. and will close the following Thursday at 11.00 p.m.

As this is a relatively new transfer from the original Today's Flowers blog to mine, I hope all old friends will be joining me here, and I would also like to invite new friends to join us and share their favorite flower photos.  We also welcome everyone to visit and enjoy.  I will no longer need to ask for Guest Friend photos, though of course will always be happy to receive any if you would still like to share.

Just like last week's post, my flowers are from Huntley Meadows Park in Alexandria, Virginia, from our visit there on September 18th this year.

As mentioned at the beginning of this post, the link will open every Friday at 12.00 a.m. (East Coast time USA), and close Thursday evening at 11.00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to add their photos until it closes in preparation for the new link.

If for some reason it does not open on time and I am not able to fix the problem straight away, please leave your link in the comment section.  But only if there is no link available.

If you have trouble adding your photo even when it is open, you can send me your entry, along with your blog address and with 'Today's Flowers' in the subject line, to the e-mail address below.

luvinwildlife@gmail.com

This e-mail can also be used if you want to get in touch with me with any advice or concerns.  Thank you very much.

Thank you Luiz.

We try not to bog you down with too many rules, but could you please provide a link to Today's Flowers if you decide you would like to join in?  Obviously everyone is welcome even if you don't as it is fun just to look.  Also, no business advertising please, this meme is for people who have a love for sharing their own favorite flower photographs.  You are very welcome to copy the button below for your related Today's Flowers' blog post.

Finally, my thanks to all friends for your support of this meme.

There is something about the tiny flowers that really catch my attention. Great pictures of these, and hope the links work for you!

I love flowers; but, unfortunately, the only "flower" photos I have are the flowers on my teapots and china! So I can't link! Oh well, I'll just enjoy looking at all the flowers here.

Is that first one real, real tiny in real life? If so it is in my neighbor's yard just thick...in mine a little. I know it is probably a weed, but I LOVE it.

Hoping I remember to do a flower post and link tomorrow.

That's a great park and your photos do it justice. Thank you so much for hosting!

Diane, I copied your Today's Flowers image to make a link to here...I was wondering if that is okay? At least I hope it links to here. Anyway, if you don't want me to use it, just say so. I just wanted to experiment with making something a link. Want to see if it works. If it doesn't, I may have to remove it anyway. LOL

These tiny wildflowers is what hubby likes to photograph - beautiful! Also, beautiful billowing clouds for sky watch! But my most favorite are the black swans in the first two pics of your post above! Happy weekend to you:)

Your wildflowers are lovely, Denise, I guess the fall is being kind to at least parts of the country.

I like the central flower....these beautiful "weeds" are so often overlooked!
Thank you again for hosting and sharing.

Have a lovely week Denise,

Hi Denise, hope this new format is working out well for you. Is there any one text link you'd like us to use when linking back? Also, I just heard about a neat technique for flower photos, to have clothespins with you to hold back errant leaves like the one in your middle photo. I've got to try it!

Your first photo is stunning with the clear focus in the foreground and the blurred in the background. Amazing !
